Traded from the Yankees to the St. Louis Cardinals following the 1966 season, single season home run record-holder Roger Maris went on to help his new team to pennants in each of his last two seasons, including a World Championship in 1967. And it was undoubtedly during this time that he signed this gorgeous Warren Giles official National League ball, with his personalization taking up most of a side panel: "To Deana, Lots of Luck, Roger Maris." Single-signed examples of Roger Maris have increased in value substantially over the past few years and this clean ONL Giles ball is a keeper. The signature is slightly faded and grades a ("6"), with the blazing white baseball a solid ("8"). The ball comes with an auction LOA from James Spence Authentications.
