This red-and-blue stitched William Harridge official American League ball boasts eleven Hall of Famers among the fourteen signatures, including Lou Gehrig, Ty Cobb, and a very early Joe DiMaggio. Additional key signatures include Tony Lazzeri, Bill Dickey, Earl Combs, Joe McCarthy, Mickey Cochrane, Goose Goslin, Al Simmons and Charlie Gehringer. The Gehrig (7), Cobb (8), and DiMaggio (7) autographs are all large and bold, as are most of the others (which grade "5-8"). The ball has been heavily coated with shellac creating numerous cracks and several spots where the shellac has chipped off entirely, relegating the ball to grade (VG). For a complete listing of the signatures, grades and position on the ball, please visit our website. This ball comes with an auction LOA from James Spence Authentications.
