Offered is a pair of 1934 Philadelphia Phillies game-worn pants. The pants are from a road uniform and came from the same collection as the 1936 Gene Corbett jersey from our last sale. The pants have a fantastic story and letter from the son of the man who originally received the pants from the Phillies. The pants show heavy use and have two areas of fabric loss on the seat. The pants have the original Spalding tag sewn into the waistband and the pants come with the letter from the son of the man who once played in them as a boy. Most major league teams gave away torn and tattered uniforms to local sandlot teams and this pair of pants was given to a lad in 1937 after the Phillies were no longer using them.
