Included in this 1935 Cleveland Indians team sheet of eighteen autographs is not one but two large autographs of their manager and pitching legend Walter "Big Train" Johnson. One Johnson signature sits at the top of a page and could be separated completely from it. Hall of Famer Earl Averill also appears on the sheet, which has been signed entirely in pencil. The Walter Johnson autographs would grade ("7"). Also included is a scorecard to an exhibition game between the Indians and the New York Giants in Hickory, N.C., with Walter Johnson and Bill Terry pictured on the cover. The two pages of the program are completely separated grading (PR). For a more complete listing of the signatories, please visit our website. This item comes with an auction LOA from James Spence Authentications.

Signed Sheet: Averill (d.1983), Bean (d.1988), Brenzel (d.1979), Castleman (d.1998), Galatzer (d.1976), Galehouse (d.1998), Gharrity (d.1966), Hale (d.1974), Hughes (d.1995), (2) W. Johnson (d.1946, "7"), Myatt (d.1969), Vosmik (d.1962), (2) Wharton, Wright (d.1995) and two unidentified, all of which grade in the ("7-8") range.
