Temporarily stymied by Bob Gibson and his World Series record seventeen strikeouts in one game, the 1968 Detroit Tigers overcame the feisty Cardinals to eke out an epic seven-game victory. Presented is a World Series program from that season. This publication comes from one of the games played at Busch Memorial Stadium in St. Louis. Aside from a marked multi-page scorecard, the keepsake is crisp and clean and grades in (EX-MT) condition. Also present is a sharp ticket stub (EX-MT) from the first game of the series in which Gibson established the standard.
