Although the 1950s-1960s Washington Senators were synonymous with losing, the players on these second division clubs permanently etched themselves into the hearts of the ardent beltway enthusiast. Included in this lot are 1.) two dated 1965 Washington Senators team-signed baseballs. Each sphere contains (31) signatures on an OAL Cronin baseball. The autographs and balls primarily grade in the (“5-6”) range and include manager Hodges (d.1972) on the sweet spot; 2.) circa-1956 Washington Nationals cuff links and tie clasp. This gilded trio is housed in the moderately worn original cardboard jewelry box. The adornments reveal varying traces of age rusting about their framing and reverses, with the artifacts grading in the (EX) range. The baseballs come with an auction LOA from James Spence Authentications. For a complete list of signatures and death dates, please visit our website.
