The American Basketball Association opened its doors to the public for the 1967-68 campaign, and until 1976 it was a popular league amongst devoted hardwood fans. Offered is a pair of full, unused tickets for this inaugural campaign, both hailing from Teaneck Armory, the home-floor of the New Jersey Americans. The Americans would exist under this moniker for only the 1967-68 season, changing their name to the New Jersey Nets the following season. The tickets note the opposing teams as the Minnesota Muskies (12/14/67) and the Oakland Oaks (2/14/68), grading NM and EX respectively.
