Presented is an early 1950s Annie Oakley League Junior American Legion uniform. This Rawlings size 38 jersey was sponsored by Coleman Pure Milk of Little Rock, Arkansas and contains moderate evidence of game usage. The button-down cream-colored jersey with blue felt trim has areas of fabric loss about the front letters and reveals multiple spots of soiling near the front tail. Two of the original buttons are present, and the others are later additions. The uniform #5 on the reverse also displays moderate fabric loss and additional soiling. The Rawlings size 30 pants exhibit extensive game usage, fabric repair and a hole near the back pocket. Interestingly, according to the original owner of this uniform, the apparel originates from a Junior American Legion league that Brooks Robinson belonged to as a youth. The combination of the confirmed locale of the sponsor and the #5 on the uniform reverse could lead to some interesting possibilities.
