Description

Compiled are five 1930s-1950s Brooklyn Dodgers felt pennants. Each white-lettered relic reveals typical pinholes about the spine and tip while displaying moderate soiling. Present are 1.) circa 1930s green pennant that measures 29”; 2.) late 1930s Dodgers green pennant with multi-colored image that measures 28”; 3.) early 1940s purple pennant with multi-colored image that spans 28”. This memorabilia is accentuated by red tassels and reveals light letter cracking on the city’s abbreviated name. The surface reveals additional color fading and a partially missing tip; 4.) early 1940s purple pennant with multi-colored image that measures 24-1/2”. The tip is partially separated while some of the lettering is slightly smeared and 5.) circa 1950s red pennant that measures 26” with beige tassels.
