Ernest S. Barnard was a highly admired American League President whose tenure was cut short by his untimely death in 1931. Offered is a scarce official American League baseball bearing the stamp of Barnard. The Reach sphere features blue and red stitching, clear and legible stampings and rates a (4) with two panels showing more prominent toning. Otherwise a very attractive ball whose appearance is better than its technical grade would suggest. This baseball is accompanied by its original box. The box is off-grade with tape-repairs and two partially-to-completely removed, or not included, box-panels.
