Presented is an extremely scarce 1910 T206 Carl Lundgren (Chicago) with a Piedmont 350 advertising reverse. After a promising start to his big league career, Lundgren faltered and by the early part of the 1909 season was toiling in Kansas City. Subsequent print runs from 1910 until the end of the series depict Lundgren as a member of the Kansas City Blues of the American Association. According to the September/October 2008 edition of Beckett Graded Card Investor and Price Guide, “The fact that Lundgren Chicago may only exist with a “150” back (and at the least, is exceedingly rare with a “350” back) certainly contributes to the card’s scarcity”. Graded 40 VG by SGC, this mid-grade beauty is apparently crease-free and reveals only moderate corner wear and slight surface soiling. The reverse is slightly off-centered and is void of any damage. Heralded as a significant scarcity from the T206 set, this relic will elevate any T206 gathering to the next level.
