An impressive war-era relic, this 1944 All-Star game program is a tough find. Played on July 11, 1944 at Forbes Field in Pittsburgh, this stripped-down contest witnessed the National League besting the American League by a 7-1 margin. This scarce 48-page publication reveals moderately loose covers, spine fraying, creasing and dog-eared inner pages. Despite these flaws, the scorecard is unmarked and the overall grade of this colorful ephemera is (VG) to (VG-EX).
