These rare and desirable artifacts from the 1956 All-Star game at Griffith Stadium in Washington, with President Eisenhower in attendance, seldom become available by themselves, much less as a set. Both complete as issued, the blue American League example is missing 1/4" from the tip and has minor soiling at the bottom of the word "All-Stars." There is also a small purple spot over the "C" in "American." The paint is uncracked save for two light creases to the baseball logo. The maroon National League version contains fine creasing throughout with some paint disturbance to the baseball logo and two small cracks in the lettering. The orange border has several small spots that are worn through to the pennant. Both pennants grade in the (VG-EX) range and will display well.
