Description

Any Senators collector can tell you how difficult Nats pieces are to find and here is a unique opportunity to pick up a plethora in one grouping. Included are 1.) (35) pins and buttons of various sizes with some rarities, notably a 1937 All-Star Game pin, a "Go Senators, Good Luck, Ted" and "Frank Howard Fan Club, 1970." Most of the pins grade in the (EX) to (NM) range; 2.) (12) mini-pennants and patches (EX); 3.) (4) Stadium giveaway hats. (VG-EX or better); 4.) (13) Opening Day stadium photographer passes, 1944-54, 1963 (average VG-EX); 5.) Brass Plaque inscribed "Washington Senators Presidential Box, Robert E. Short" in (VG-EX) condition. This could be the prize of the lot, possibly taken from RFK Stadium during the riot that ended the last game of the franchise there in 1971.
