Resting in a vintage wooden frame is the offered Franklin D. Roosevelt autographed letter, framed with a period artist drawing. This typed, signed letter was written to the Honorable A.J. Hawkins of Missouri thanking him for his support as FDR made his first march to the White House. The letter exhibits moderate foxing and the commonplace folds. The black ink signature is slightly faded and grades (“7”). The frame measures 25 x 21 and the piece comes with an auction LOA from James Spence Authentications.
