Offered is a group of (8) original photos of Joe DiMaggio from his time in the Air Force that were obtained from DiMaggio’s personal collection. These (7) 4-1/8 x 5-3/16 and (1) 3-5/16 x 4-1/4 black and white photographs show DiMaggio sharing beers with fans, playing with babies and posing with family and friends. The offered pieces are in (EX) or better condition with slight touches of wear and light crackling and creasing. This candid look at the “Yankee Clipper” during his military career presents excellent possibilities for accentuating any DiMaggio collection.
